Pier 38 was packed to the gills as the Hawaii Fishing & Seafood Festival 2012 was underway. Patrons by the busload were crowding the pier, checking out all of the new gadgets and gizmo’s, as well as the boats and clothes. Every year, the festival seems to become more and more crowd pleasing, and this year followed suit. There were tons of smiling faces of all ages. There was live music, shave ice, lots of food, and so much more. Truly a great display of what Hawaii’s fishing businesses are all about. Mayoral candidate, Kirk Caldwell , was also in attendance to show his support of such a flourishing industry here in Hawaii.
